Terms of Use

By creating an account or playing Hip Hop Heads, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use Hip Hop Heads with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

One account per person. Information you give us must be accurate.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us straight away through the Support page if you think someone else has access to it.

Hip Hop Heads is a knowledge game, so playing fair is the whole point. You agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, automation or any outside tool to play the game for you.
• Exploit bugs, errors or glitches to gain fans, items or battle wins.
• Create multiple accounts to farm rewards or manipulate leaderboards.
• Copy, scrape or redistribute the question bank or any part of the game.
• Harass, threaten or abuse other players, or use offensive MC names or avatars.
• Interfere with the game, its servers or other players' accounts.

We may adjust scores, remove items or suspend accounts where we find this has happened.

Fans, Gold Records and Platinum Albums are virtual items that exist only inside Hip Hop Heads. They are not money, they have no cash value, and they cannot be bought, sold, traded, transferred or exchanged for real money or anything outside the game.

They are not refundable. If you remove your data or your account is closed, they are lost. We may also adjust them if we detect cheating or a technical fault.

Hip Hop Heads does not currently sell anything for real money. If that changes, we will update these Terms first, and any purchase of digital content will be handled through the app store you downloaded the game from, under that store's own terms.

MC Battles are played directly between players. Both players answer the same questions, and leaving a battle part way through counts as a loss. Fans wagered in a battle are at your own risk, within the game only. Please treat opponents with respect.

You are responsible for the MC name, avatar and other details you choose. Do not use a name or image that impersonates someone else, infringes anyone's rights, or is offensive or unlawful. We may remove content or ask you to change it if it breaks these Terms.

Hip Hop Heads is an independent trivia game created by fans, for fans. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any artist, group, record label, publisher, or rights holder mentioned or referenced in the game.

Artist names, album titles, song titles, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. They are used in the game for identification, commentary and educational trivia purposes only.

The game itself, including its design, question bank, artwork and software, belongs to Hip Hop Heads and is protected by law. You may not copy, modify, distribute or resell any part of it without our permission.

Hip Hop Heads is supported by advertising. Ads may be shown as you enter the game and around game sessions. Advertisers are responsible for the content of their own ads and any offers they make.

We work to keep Hip Hop Heads available, but we do not promise it will always be online or free of faults. We may add, change or remove features, including questions, eras and game modes, at any time.

You may stop using Hip Hop Heads at any time and remove your data from the Remove My Data page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms.

Hip Hop Heads is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Trivia questions are written for entertainment. While we aim for accuracy, we do not warrant that every question, answer or explanation is correct or complete.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hip Hop Heads is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the game, including lost progress, lost in-game items, or interruptions to the service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Jamison Technology LLC is established, without regard to conflict of law rules.

We may update these Terms as the game develops. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Hip Hop Heads after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
